It is our responsibility to ensure that you have enough understanding regarding the functionality of Ostendo to be satisfied that it will be a useful tool in assisting you to “run your business better”.
The process we adopt in facilitating this objective comprises of the following steps:
Preliminary meeting with you and your staff, at your premises to listen to your requirements, gain an appreciation of your current workflows and systems. This would include a ‘tour “ of your operations. This process would take approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours for which there is no charge.
If we feel that Ostendo will not provide you with satisfactory solutions to your requirements ( we will explain why) and terminate the process.
If we felt that Ostendo would provide solutions to the issues are currently experiencing we would move to the next stage –
A solution specific demonstration on an Ostendo database customized to reflect your process you have identified. The aim of this process is to physically demonstrate solutions to put you in a position to enjoy the confidence that Ostendo will meet your needs.
This process would take approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours for which there is no charge.
At this stage if you are feeling reasonably comfortable with the Ostendo solution but you want some further assurance before the final decision is made a detailed business analysis can be done at a chargeable rate to ensure all your concerns are met.
When you decide to commit to move forward with the purchase and installation of Ostendo, a scope of works will be prepared with a estimated time line. At this stage we will be in a position to formulate a project costing based on
- Software cost and ongoing licensing fees
- Migration of existing data if applicable.
- Installation and database customization
- Training
- Ongoing support
